It's only when you shoot at really high speeds that you see how these birds operate! Yes, it certainly was cropped. There's no way I'd have been able to to frame it properly as everything happens so quickly - Well spotted!

Nice action shot! Is this cropped way in? I'm wondering because there's no real detail on the birds wings or tail.
