It seems as though the focus is slightly out on the main subject. I think the camera caught the back trunk as the focus. The front branch is slightly distracting from the subject.

You can never win! A wonderful eagle as a record shot. Very meanly it is probably described as "a bird on a stick"! What you really wanted is to capture it taking off! We've all waited for that magical event and then become exhausted or fed up. more the camera away and then it takes off!! We've all done it, then the annoying branch on the left would probably not matter!

Nice subject and composition. In order to fare well in this competition, the eye needs to be sharper. I agree with comment about the dark branch being distracting from the image.
