Very nice moment and I like the uniformity of the grass frame which allows the subject to standout. The focus being slightly out may hurt this image in competition judging.

How many shots did you take of this? It has a pleasant background but I'm sure there would have been a better picture there. If you'd managed to show the fawn's head I feel that would have helped. We all know how quickly they move and I'm always missing the perfect shot! Sometimes you get lucky!

This particular pose makes the deer's head look angular. Might not be the strongest competitor for this category.
