While an interesting subject, the harsh light is creates a shine that is distracting. Perhaps a polarizer (or better light) could have cut down on the glare. Also a tighter crop, removing the surrounding grasses would've simplified the image.

Difficult harsc light. Having one of these small photoflex "Lite Disc's" in you camera bag can sometimes be a saver.
